HERO is about the desperate need for men to return to God’s calling; that they be fathers to their sons.  This is a difficult calling, one that demands commitment, strength, and love—in a word, heroism.  It stems from a humble decision made by a father, but ultimately, it requires God’s strength.  And God is the true hero of this movie.

HERO is currently in post-production. Filmed in Winston-Salem, NC, it is produced by Brightline Pictures and Advent Film Group. It stars Burgess Jenkins (REMEMBER THE TITANS, ARMY WIVES), Gregory Alan Williams (THE PREACHER'S KID, WEST WING), Mark Joy (THE ULTIMATE GIFT), Andrea Powell (THE RUNAWAY JURY)

A new upcoming film from Advent Film Group and Brightline Pictures, ONE GOOD MAN.

I think the DP is going to be James Burgess, who was also the DP for Pilgrim's Progress and The Widow's Might.
