Unconditional on DVD!

March 5th, Unconditional is on DVD!

I saw this movie in theaters last year when it came out and was extreemly impressed. The movie trailer does not do this film justice, and makes the film appear to be another cliche cheesy Christian film. I'm here to tell you that it is so much more with suprising twists and turns and an overall message that will encourage you to look to God especially when the storms come.

The film is rated PG-13, and to see a review of content check out the Dove Review.

Plugged In Movie Awards: Best Christian Movie (Nominees)

"It's our third day of announcing our nominees for the first-ever Plugged In Movie Awards. On Tuesday we rolled out our picks for Best Movie for Kids. Yesterday it was Best Movie for Teens. Today we're looking at the category of Best Christian Movie released in 2012.

This is our effort to recognize some of the work being done in the Christian film industry. As it grows, gaining momentum in terms of both box office clout and artistic merit, we're seeing more things every year that are worth taking a second look at. Or, as the case may be, handing out accolades to."

Award Nominees are:

- Blue Like Jazz
- Monumental
- October Baby
- Rogue Saints
- Unconditional

Be sure to head over to the blog and vote for your favorite! However if you want the vote to count...you'll have to create an account on their website, but hey it's Focus on the Family, so why not?

Unconditional - The Movie

Synopsis:

Samantha Crawford is living a storybook life: she’s happily married, she lives on a ranch where she keeps her beloved horse, and the stories she’s told and illustrated since childhood have become published books.

When her husband Billy is killed in a senseless act of violence, Sam loses her faith and her will to live. But a death-defying encounter with two children leads to a reunion with Joe, her oldest friend. Inspired by true events, UNCONDITIONAL stars Michael Ealy (Think Like A Man) and Lynn Collins (John Carter).

As Sam watches “Papa” Joe care for and love the kids in his under-resourced neighborhood, she begins to realize that no matter life’s circumstances, the love of God is always reaching out to us.
