New Movie "Unlimited"

This film is currently in production and is being made in association with Gundersen Entertainment.

SYNOPSIS

Meet Simon Orwell, an electrical engineering student kicked out of MIT on a journey where he finds himself helping a former professor make a device that creates unlimited energy. When the professor is killed by a drug cartel, Orwell goes into hiding and finds refuge in an orphanage run by a former NASA scientist.

Beyond the Mask - Set Construction

A team has begun working on a couple of the major sets for the Burns upcoming feature film, Beyond the Mask!

The crew has been busy building two awesome sets. The first is a Philadelphia city street which is being erected inside one of the pole barns. Although it is only a two-dimensional façade, the windows and doors are designed to be fully functional. The other set is a Delaware River dockyard.

The Life Project

City On A Hill Productions is producing a film series created to persuade women with unplanned pregnancies to carry their babies to term. They are shooting on the Canon 5D.

"In order to maximize the effectiveness and usefulness of "The Life Project," we were advised by various women's resource centers to triple cast our story. So, last week we filmed essentially the same story with three different principal casts: white, African-American, and Latino/Spanish-speaking.

While I was excited by the prospect of working with three different casts, I must admit that, at first, I faintly wondered, in the back of my mind, if filming the same scenes three times would be monotonous drudgery. It was not at all! It was an incredible experience to watch these wonderful actors bring their own gifts and insights into the scenes." ~Richard Ramsey

On the Set of Courageous

As in the first two films from Sherwood Pictures, Alex Kendrick is both directing and playing the lead role in the new film Courageous. He co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Stephen, and this time takes on the role of a husband and father of two children. It's a role that is familiar to Kendrick, as he and his wife have six children themselves.

Alex plays Adam Mitchell, a sheriff's deputy who is part of a tight-knit group of men who put their lives on the line every day together. But at home, it's a different story. As dads, they're all missing the mark.

When a tragedy hits home, they are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God and to their children?

Additional Cast
Kevin Downes (The Moment After, Six, To the Wall) plays Alex's partner Shane Fuller, whose family life is falling apart. He's divorced but trying to maintain a relationship with his son.

Fans of Fireproof will recognize Ken Bevel, who plays Nathan Hayes in Courageous. Ken is a member of Sherwood Baptist who became famous across the country for his role as Michael Simmons in Fireproof, best friend and colleague of Caleb Holt.

Joining Kevin and Ken is Ben Davies, a student at the University of Georgia whose season-ending injury freed him up to audition for the role of David Thomson in Courageous. A native of Nashville, Ben's previous acting roles have been in music videos, commercials, print ads and training videos.

Rounding out the five main characters is Robert Amaya as Javier Martinez. He is married and works in a factory to support his wife and children. Javier is asked to make a critical decision that will affect his future in the factory, and it's only through diligent prayer with his wife that he makes a decision that is God-honoring and honoring to his family and his company.

Through these five men's lives, we'll see how their choices affect their families, and whether or not they can rise to the challenge of becoming the fathers God intends them to be.
